Lotus employs its own full time team of carpenters/renovation specialists to ensure our work is being completed to the highest standards. When needed, Lotus only hires subcontractors for our electrical & plumbing and occasional paint or tile work. Our subcontractors are fully experienced professionals who have worked with us on many projects. When we quote a project, we take on full project management and provide all-inclusive quotations so there is no need to run around trying to find your own contractors for each aspect of your renovation. At Lotus we handle it all for you!
You also get the advantage of having a professional Interior Designer (at no extra cost) who will work with you on all of your design details, coordinating your cabinets, flooring, backsplash, countertops, paint colours, fixtures and even artwork and furniture! All under one roof with no need to run from store to store!
Step 1 – In Store Kitchen / Built-in Custom Cabinetry Appointment
The first step in beginning your renovation project with Lotus, whether it be a kitchen, bathroom or built-in, is to book an appointment with one of our Interior Designers here in our Brooklin Showroom. During this meeting we will discuss the scope of your project and spend time reviewing door styles, cabinetry finishes, countertop options and design ideas. We will have you complete a detailed Questionnaire in regards to your project, and ask that you bring pictures of your space with you to this initial appointment. If you feel you would like to move forward at the end of this meeting, we will then book your complementary in-home consultation.
Step 2 – In-Home Kitchen / Built-In Custom Cabinetry Consultation
A complimentary in-home design consultation with a Designer & Renovation Specialist is scheduled at your home. We will ask questions to learn about your goals, needs, likes, dislikes and lifestyle. We will make design suggestions and discuss several options that we think will work for your space. At the end of the consultation we will provide you with a “ballpark” figure for your project. If you are happy with what we have to offer and would like to move on to the design process, we will then take measurements and photographs of your space and schedule your design presentation appointment.
In Store Design Presentation
Cost of Drawings $1000 + HST (rebated upon contract acceptance)
Computerized 3D Drawings will be presented to you on a 42” screen so you can see what your space will look like before your project is started! We will incorporate any changes/additions you may wish to make and help you make your final decisions on design & finishes. A quotation for the full scope of work will be presented to you and also physical examples of your door style(s), finish(s), countertop(s), backsplash, fixtures, flooring, paint colours and even lighting, artwork and furniture if requested. Once you are happy with every detail and the design is complete, a date is then set to begin your project.
